State of Origin 2025

I wonder how much Egan was in the debate?
I might be bias, but I think he's done more than enough to warrant an Origin selection
(selfishly a bit relieved he's playing for us though!)
I reckon Egan's terrible form in the second-half of last season really knocked him backwards in the state selectors eyes.

A bit, Robson did a good job Amin a winning team, Api more unlucky, I think

Six Tackles with Gus yesterday they played some old Tommy Raudonikis audio, what an absolute legend he was and one of the best voices of all time. Was talking about Johns and saying how they “need to pull his hair, pull his nose, grab his forearm and push it around and bash him”

No idea why Douehi is there but it must be some kind of opp training thing. He is nowhere near Origin.

The Blues are on their third day here in the Blue Mountains and the sun has finally poked its head out. Let's hope it didn't depress them like it did the locals, who've had three solid weeks of rain.

Now we have spygate lol. NSW furious about vision of Crichton limping away from a training session being linked, and they claim Qld have had spies recording the session

Qld are supposedly underdogs. NSW are camped now in enemy territory. The Maroons need something.

The marketeers love it.

Wouldn’t be Origin without the off field drama lol

NSW are playing down Crichton’s injury but calling in Burton suggests there’s more to it doesn’t it. At least enough to put in a contingency plan.

Campbell Graham would move into the starting lineup which means they’ll need a new 18th man. Stefano and Olakauatu don’t have the versatility to fill that role, but Burton certainly does.

I was just thinking about the societal shift in drinking habits. Young people are - on the whole - drinking much less. Therefore, take this Origin period, alcohol might not play such a part in the off field dramas as before.

One of my favourite parts of Origin, Full Channel 9 build up, and Danika Mason

Not the same without the Fatman on the panel though

It was great seeing Fatty in that intro segment on the '95 'Neville Nobodies'. But it's not swaying me though, I support the Blues these days.

...just saw Munster in maroon. That makes my decision to back the Blues so much easier.

Gee, the Blues have more than a few Panthers out there. Reputation over club form? A recipe for failure or will it lift them to greater things? It reminds me of Filipaina in '85, reserve grade to dominating Wally Lewis.
