Qld are in big trouble as unless they start big and put on early points in the second half, the longer this game goes the more NSW will wear them down knowing they will finish the stronger in the last 10 minutes with their supreme fitness.

Agree with the above comment re: QLD needing to put some more points on the board, we are looking worse for wear.

The Gasnier experiment failed for NSW in the first half, it will be interesting to see if Murray brings on Hornby early in the second half - becomes a matter of who to replace. Cooper has been a non-event in the first 40 minutes, may be replace Cooper, move Gasnier to centre and Hornby to centre.

Very good first half ... Paul Gallen has been great for NSW, Brent Tate has been great for QLD. I would like to see Lockyer take on the line some more in the second half.

Josh Hannay and Rhys Wesser really need to give QLD more support when darting from dummy half, they are not making metres and are giving away a tackle more often than not.

The next 40 minutes will be great - may the best state win :D

The surface is killing this game.
Players falling over with no one near them or trying to get some ball movement happening, but forced to cut it short for fear of sliding over the sideline despite being no where near it.

Can't pick a winner, it's a real lottery with the surface and dewey conditions the way they are.

Agreed, the roof is a joke. Should've been left open.

Anyone else nearly put the TV through the wall when Channel Nine decide to go to an AAMI ad and missed some of the LIVE action yet when NSW scored, the director stayed with the camera man following Grothe back to his position as Hodgson lined up the kick ...??

agreed on the surface, its ruining some great attacking chances... Melbourne curator or whom ever is in charge needs a swift kick in the arse

the blues defence has been awesome too. big willie and shrek have certainly fired up compared to the woeful game 2. pity the blues cant seem to muster much attacking game.
