I went to my first Origin in 1984 (at Lang Park). In '89, I even got to stand on the sideline taking photos as a student photographer. That was when Origin was great. The last time we (NSW) actually 'got it' was when Gould was Coach. Since then, it's been all downhill.

I have always looked forward to 'the next Origin'. But this year, it is just depressing. Do any NSW fans realistically think we can win? I don't.

Josh Massoud was the one telling the story apparently
At a soo team thing where they were having a beer and wade graham sat at the table with a few senior players and a coach
