Keeping the squad fresh is going to be an important challenge for coach Flanno.

Gallen is clearly struggling with the knee and will need time off at some point to peak for the finals.

The advantage of banking points thus far is the ability to tactically rest players with injury. The trick is to not lose momentum coming into the big games.

If he's rested for the next 2, he misses our next 3 games.

Play him V Eels (week & 1/2 after SOO2), rest him weekends after SOO 2 & 3 with a short turnaround.

We will drop a couple of games over the next 3-4 I think, then get that roll on back and take it through to the finals. Expecting the Warriors to go either way but Para we might get our pants pulled down. Might have a few panicking that we are losing our shit but we will have to pay the piper for all the intensity soon. All the good sides leading into finals tend to do so (how good is it describing ourselves as that for a change).

The Panthers game worries me the most. They have a good team and sooner or later they will really click and give someone a flogging.

It's unrealistic to expect no losses and to drop a game or two to lower ladder sides will not be a disaster but a blessing

I want all the rest games to be done by round 17 at the latest. Run out in round 18 full strength and put the wins together and go into the finals with momentum and not limp with a shitty performance in round 25 and 26

Yes give the senior / SOO guys a week off.

We play the Panthers understrength.

Won't mind losing to them, we will have the record by then.

I just want this team to break the winning streak record...big confidence booster.

Agree. The parra game worries me for some reason too... They have a couple of ex sharkies that will likely be up for big games.

Seeing as we are (crystal) ball gazing.

The last round match up v the Storm at AAMI will be a rip snorter.Could decide the J.J Giltinan shield.
