Wasn't Bradman Best being shopped around earlier in the season?
That was the rumor. I was keen, though a good Origin performance likely takes him out of the value bracket that would have made him worth a look in the first place.

NSW looked quite a bit better with the Cook, Walker, Murray Quasi Spine. Quicker and more organised. Took better options as well.

I predicted that Souths players were better suited to Origin/Freddies coaching style than our players. It is just how things are. I love our boys but Murray is a better #13 at Origin than Yeo in particular if Cook/Walker are playing. Walker is also a better 5/8 than Luai in 2023 so far.

My big concern moving forward though is that even though the Souths players are a better 'fit' this year - Cook and Walker are OLD. Playing them does not bode well for even the medium term future.
We have seen plenty of single Origins where a NSW player or team have smashed QLD, and we have an outer that player or team undroppable and part of a new NSW dynasty.

I’d pump the breaks; new coach next year will lead to a few changes (hopefully).

Freddy thinks there is a Game 4, he told Stefano to have a rest 😂

Who would you be playing at fullback should Tedesco step aside? Candidates appear to be Trbojevic, Dylan Edwards or Nicho Hynes?

Tommy probably should retire from the sport so not him. Edwards is the world's best fullback but I think he's too similar to Teddy ( although he'd know when to stay out of the way) so probably not him. Hynes or Drinkwater are my picks

Queensland didn't give a fig about the game. That's why Codie had room to do things. He still through balls over the sideline, intercepts etc. If Qld had niggled him he would have lost it like normal.

depends on the style they want to play.

Addo-Carr and Drinkwater or Hynes offer not a lot on the kick returns. Not sure you want Latrell having take the hard stuff either.

So you need 2 big wingers in that line up

NSW was also up by 10 points until Tommy went off in game 1.
Cook had a shocker at centre in game 2

That is without Latrell and Jake Turbo. So better selections and use of the bench and it is a different series

I dare the new coach to name the same side next year if the first match is in Brisbane. Campbell Graham will replace Critta probably (Doggies the place rep players go to disappear) and Lattrel will be given a place due to his mystical player status.
