I don't think Freddy should've bench Walker in that second half. Qld were all over them despite whatever Teddy and Cook threw at them all game.

Ado-Carr and Latrell might be good attacking players but their defence cost NSW this game and most likely the series.

Moving forward I'd like to see a controlling half out there, and some actual good bench forwards to lighten the loads from the starting lads.

Looked completely out of his depth. Gave away the penalty that really changed the game. He’s only played like 8 first grade games and it showed in his inexperience.

Crichton is appalling and should consider himself extremely lucky to have even been picked for this game. Don’t know what he offers and is hopefully dropped for game 2. Wighton....meh

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again - latrell is a flat track bully, only beats up on smaller wingers.

That left edge was diabolical with walker and latrell.

The bench management I could not work out. Klemmer was burnt out with 60 mins straight, turbo snr and Frizell were off for far too long, with crighton in particular giving us nothing.

In short,qld played well but we lost that game.
