Stats???

I remember hearing there is going to be an in-depth use of stats in the game, and the game follows the performance throughout the season.
Mario with this, what stats will the game follow over the course of the season??
Im assuming we can look these up in the menus after each match? or am i wrong?

I'd love to have as many stats as possible. I love them, there is something like 17 stats per player and 22 stats per team or something.

While we're talking about stats, I was wondering if they had fixed up what was counted as a hit up. In the demo they only counted some "hit ups". Does anyone know what they have done with this?
