he was good in jay and silent bob strike back aswell. but obviously wasnt in that much.

Nothing Will Ferrell does is funny to me and I gave up on him a long time ago.

I might have to see this movie just to see if it is indeed as funny as people say. The trailer certainly does it no favours.

To be truthful i was a bit let down by that movie didn't give me anywhere near the laughs that step brothers did.

Will Ferrell is not funny at all.

Anchorman was good, everything he's done since has been inferior and really all the jokes are very similar.

Ferrell's best film IMO is Stranger Than Fiction, by far. It's a classic and he was fantastic in it as well.

But i also enjoyed Step Brothers. John C. Reilly is a great actor. Another noted comedic actor who for me put in his best performance in a more serious role in Magnolia.

Will Ferrell is a very talented actor, particularly in the "straighter" films that he does, like Stranger Than Fiction and Winter Passing.

That said, his best work is when he gets to improvise, and in Step Brothers he was top notch. His best move since Old School.

i have never rated any of will farrel's movies (comedy flicks) until i saw step brothers.

stranger than fiction was a pile of horse sh*t the first time i watched it...not so bad the second...nothing like ferrels usual stuff. bewitched was horrid too.
