Sterlo, The Thornett Brothers, Artie Beetson, Ray Price, Crow, do these players names ring a bell....... then I need your help.

Maybe old dad might be able to tell you something about them.

My name is Quigs, I am an old fart dinosaur RL supporter and I am also the webmaster of the Era of the Biff RL website.

I am chasing memories and stories about the above mentioned greats, and more if you have them. Have a word in the old boys ear and get his stories..memories.

Any of you guys at the Eels first GF win, or witnessed the night Cumberland burnt? Why not share the experience with other Leagueies.

My RL site involves memories of matches, heroes and hard men, and stories from the Era of the Biff in Rugby League. It covers the era roughly from the late 50's through to the mid / late 80's. This site was launched on the 20/11/2003 and has now received well over 6600 hits.

****, drop by and say Hi....

Cheers

The 86 GF ....... was it your first ever Grand Final trip, why not share your memories with the RL world..... you realize that was nearly 20 years ago now......

Do you know of anyone that was at the 81 grand final.... it was a pearler too.

Drop us an email if you like with your story...I am not chasing a literary classic..... tell it like it happend.

Gidday JessEel,

It was part and parcel of the game for well over three and a half decades.....test matches always had a 20 minute softening up period. But the game has changed and it is not the same.

Check this page out Jess and read game entries 16, 18, and 20 for starters. It'll open your eyes a little.

Hey guys,

Being the father of a beer swilling son (hes a good bloke, takes after his father) I have this great suggestion for youse.

Grab the old man, take him to the pub or club, buy him a couple of schooners, and get him talking about the good old days of league. You might be surprised about the memories and stories that might flood from his league brain.

If they are good yarns then the "era" would love to hear them.

Cheers

Hey Sportive,

Care to share your memories with us.... I have that game listed in the memorable matches section of my site.

I am not chasing a literary classic, just tell it like it happend.

If you like just email me with your story and I will include it in the Era of the Biff.

Just chasing memories and stories......

Cheers
