I doubt he'll play Toyota Cup again.
NRL or NSW Cup for the rest of the year.

ABSOLUTE QUALITY DEBUT!!!

I erred over buying him at season commence - thought he was no chance of NRL game time

great debut, fingers crossed he keeps going

Just saw his run in the 4th minute on the highlights reel. Looks pretty slow for a winger. Slowest winger in the NRL since .... Covell? Or is Carney that quick.

He is coming back from some serious injuries.
Hasn't played a game for two years before this season.
Should be back to top pace next year.
And.... Carney is no slouch.

Congrats on a great debut hope he continues to kick on.
He had a fairly easy time marking another debutant.
The real test will be when he faces some of the tougher seasoned wingers.

Would have liked to have seen him play more NYC this season but injuries and his great form has fast tracked his debut.

He let one ball bounce from a bomb which could have gone anywhere but apart from that you couldn't fault his game.

Now we have to get him signed ASAP!!

Yeh mate, know his story. Know a couple of the boys in that side so try to watch their games when I can, but never seen him in open space. Good debut, hope he stays in your side.

His speed should be well & truely back by now. 12 months is well long enough.
I was surprised how easily Carney raked him in. Actually, I was suprised when people were talking up his speed last year as he never looked that quick in TC. He looked exactly like he did today. Awkward, LCG, & runs hard as all f**k. In fact first time I saw him run was a mirror image of all his hitups today.

You had better snap him up quick smart, you wouldn't want any of the top teams wanting to have a chat with him about next year.......

Amazingly his talent and form weren't enough to get him a first grade spot
Rather a third string choice

First rule of coaching is to drop non performers and motivate those under them by rewarding with promotion

Gould was talking him up, maybe we'll see some interest out west for him?
Great debut. I'm not too concerned about the perceived lack of pace especially if he ends up as a centre. Appears to have good awareness, hands and strength. Hodges, as an example, isn't lightening either.
