Would possibly look to rest Sunshine, thats about it, go full strength considering there is only 2 tests.

Siddle really has improved in the games I have seen him bowl. When he bowls full he can bowl teams out on his own.

Siddle is a lock now. All we can do is pray he doesn't do his usual. Like Johnson he seems to like playing in SA so that is one thing in his favour, however if they both go to crap after this series then we can't wait too long to pull the trigger on them.

Harris yes, Cummins is no chance. If he was a chance he'd be playing, just like Pattinson not playing the tour match in SL. He's there for the experience.

Siddle has almost certainly knocked Copes out. I'm fine with that, so long as performance is what get's you in or out then that's all we can ask for. But similarly if Copes gets back and starts getting bags full (or another fringy like Doug or Butterworth) and one of the test attack is not pulling their weight then the same rule has to apply.

Whats the point of picking a player in a test squad if they had no intention in playing him in any matches?

Don't get me wrong I think Cummins being selected in the test squad is a joke.

So instead of being back in Australia and playing Sheild cricket so he can fullfil this 'potential' of his, he is in South Africa not playing cricket.

Now that they havn't played him in the Tour Match they almost have to play him in the 1st Test. Otherwise all they are doing is not giving him a chance to play proper cricket. He won't progress into a top class Test bowler by playing nothing but ODI and Giggle cricket.

Michael Beer was selected in the Test Squad was he not? He is playing Sheild cricket as we speak. If they had no intention of giving Pat Cummins game time then surely he would be back with NSW right now.
