Give it away. We won't make it. We are just not up to it. 4 points out of the 8 with only 4 weeks to go. We will be lucky to win 1 or 2 of our remaining games. We are simply not up to pace with the top sides.

I like Ando, but honestly...I'm baffled by his tactics and selections.

* Persisting with Mortimer. I know I defended it, but only on the basis of "we have nobody else". But really we do - put Mateo or Keating at 5/8 and Robson at halfback. Oake into the 13 if Mateo goes to 6, for example.

But Mortimer (and I like the kid) has been very poor, and he is not helping us, sadly.

* Reluctance to blood young talent. We have all been calling for Mitchell to get a go, and why not? He's played well for Wenty and we are lacking spark from dummy half.

* No creativity. Always the same rotations.

* Seeming reluctance to drop players. I don't want to come across as an arsehole, but after the month Burty has had...I know he's our goal-kicker and he's a top player on his day...But his last month has been poor. I won't blame him for the losses. That would be unfair and stupid. But he hasn't helped when he's been not getting involved, dropping bombs, missing tackles...My understanding is Ando came in and practically told everyone nobody is safe from being dropped. And yet they are, it seems.


I am puzzled by Anderson, and find myself questioning whether he really is the right man for the job. And I would love him to be - I really would.

I mean, some would say to give gim a fair go - let him get rid of the dead wood and sign the blokes he wants and then judge him. And that's a good point. But that would still not explain the asterisk points I made above...

What pisses people off is that they know that if the coach were to do something like play Morts at 9, Robson at 7 and maybe Mateo or Humble at 6 we would be three times the side we are at the moment and may even be in the race for this years prize but the coach is so bloody pig headed that he wont consider moving his golden haired love child. Im pissed off to the max. What makes me even madder is that next year he plans to build the bloody team around his love child ! FMD does the coach have a bloody clue ???? Not only will we waste this year we will end up wasting next year as well.
What do we do Ando ? It just makes no bloody sense !!!

We were in a prime position this year to really go well and we had to run into a coach with a hard on for a player who is just not cutting it.
I tell you what - If Morts finally shows something akin to an ability as a halfback he will owe Ando his career. At the moment Ando is absolutely wrecking his career as a coach but picking a player on potential rather than output - and make not mistake, there has never been a player that has been paid so much, been lauded by so many, been given so much opportunity but delivered so little in the history of this club.

It really hurts because I know what coaching the eels means to Ando and he is a good guy but maybe Peter Sharp or Ozzy needs to man up and say something.
It also hurts because all the energy, all the new season ticket holders, all the sponsorships were all coming back to the eels.... now its all hit the wall.

I know that there are those who think that Morts gets picked on too much but FMD how can you defend him ? He is the conductor, we have to have someone there that has some ability, a trick shot, a good kick, speed off the mark, strength... something !!!

Also who suggested that we give him two or three years to see if he is good enough and then if not we will find someone else - you sir are a bloody moron.

I agree with every sentence, every word, every syllable. And I`m sober!
Can anyone tell me the difference between Daniel Anderson and Michael Hagan?
I think it`s this: Anderson is angrier, and he speaks more eloquently at press conferences.
