Let's unpack this situation without the emotional frippery. We ain't winning anything this season, but still stand a slim, outside chance of finishing Top 8. Improbable, but not impossible. Does our coaching team (in contact with Fitzy) think it's worth sticking with Chad for possibly getting more wins to make 8th spot? Or is there more benefit from giving other possibilities (Trindall, etc) a run to see how they perform?
Personally, I say definitely the latter. Win/win. Give Tricky the keys for a run of matches AND (based on Chad's form recently) still have more chance of getting the Ws.
Great guy. Good human. Genuinely loves the club. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for 2016. Seriously. But it's time we went our separate ways. All the best Chad.
Is anyone else just sick of talking about Chad.
Sick if the negativity about the same bloke. Day after day game after game.
Lookibg forward to the day when he doesnt rate a mention regarding our performances - although he will still be a human news feed for what he does in townsville.
2016. Seriously if we dont have maloney at 6 running the team we are still at 0 premierships.
He is simply not good enough to run an nrl team.
Im sitting here watchibg cleaey bomb and cross-kick for his chasers with perfection. The kids a kid. Sure he has natural ability but l bet my left one he trains this to perfection.
The sheer thing that has always shitted me the most about chad is his kicking game.
In the nrl the 7 must have one. To win it is crucial. As jimmy showed us.
To create and maintain pressure and field position. And scoring opportunities.
Thats what wins games. Field position - where you attack from and where they bring it out from. Chad may not have clearys natural ability but the fact he has not trained trained and trained to develop aand develop a kicking does my fpharking head in.
In over 10 years of first grade??
As supporter to watch the shit that that he serves up every match...pointless hail marys, bombs that threaten noone, kicks into other players, the inability to get a repeat set - and then watch the top sides score try after try on the back of their kicker.
Its no coincidence we dont see the best from our roster who never get to be in a position to heap pressure on the other mob.
This to me says it all about chad - that he belives he doesnt need to better this part of his game.
And that flanno hannay and morris have not demanded it??...seriously - hopeless hannay telling the world that chad works hard at his craft?
Haha...laughable.
Enabler.
