Storm vs Chooks

If there is one team that think they have the wood over us, its the paltry/poultry chooks. They've beaten us twice previously under Brad Fittler. Its a score that is yet to be settled. We've laid Manly to rest in a bloodied heap, now its time to pluck the chooks.

I'm bloody excited to see this game. For awhile, I've been watching teams struggle down in Olympic Park, but it's about time to see how Fittler's Roosters will handle it.

Storm will win this...being at home counts for a lot. Both teams like to bomb for their wingers and the likes of Slater and Folau will control this aspect defensively so the Roosters will need to find a new tactic.

Fittler's first road trip to the graveyard, eh?

Will be interesting.

Hate those bastards, but respect the fact that they've got a good team/coach.

Regardless of the loss today I know the team will be up for this one. I was half expecting them to lose to parra, that's the sort of team Easts are, Melbourne in Melbourne will be tough but I'm confident.

Same...in cases...back to ya.

I really don't know what to expect from this game. The recent wins against Melbourne from us will mean bugger all. And after today, it makes it harder to tell.

I think the Roosters can get Melbourne, for some odd reason, I just don't think this is going to be like the Titans, Dogs, Cowboys or other games in Melbourne this year. Tight, close and some points on ffer.

And if Cam has another off-night with the boot...lol

I think the boys will be keen to make sure the Roosters don't think they have the wood on us after the last 2 losses up there.
This is a big game mentally as well as for ladder position for us

I'm hoping our boys don't feel cocky at all. I hope we can bounce back. We did last time, but it's always a different ballgame in the Graveyard.
Although in saying that, three straight wins against Melbourne would be a tremendous achievement. I'd be damn proud of my boys if we got it.

Melbourne would be pretty tired after the exhausting clash at Brookie, but I think I will prove my point of a Manly vs Melbourne GF

Melbourne would be pretty tired after the exhausting clash at Brookie,

Had Melbourne gone on to lose the match by conceding a try in the last 6 sets that manly had and then a field goal / goal / try then i'd say that would be a very solid point, but from my own experience if you have a really hard game and win, the next week just seems to be so much easier. id be looking for a big win from melbourne.

if smith plays the same as he did against manly we may struggle. I was very dissapointed with his performance, he failed to lead as a captain in a very important match imo. First time i have ever been unhappy with him really.

Gaba's a goose lol he just makes random stats up 'you've lost to 80% of the top 8 teams you've come up against' or something.

Fitzgibbon will probably miss out on the match but O'Meley and Sa return... anyway we'll probably get smashed playing at Melbourne but Im excited.
