It's not going to be live - they changed the 2pm timeslot to a Christian themed telemovie starring Peter Fonda. The Storm game will be shown around 11pm following the Friday night movie.

There's a couple of great bars at the stadium itself, but I think 1 might be closed due to the recent hailstorm.

There are heaps of bars and hotels in the city close to the stadium.

The Crown Casino is a safe bet if you want a larger crowd, or a place to watch the replay of the game.

well i just got the sunday tv guide out of the paper and it still says 2pm
so foxtel and papers are saying its live and the online guide is saying it isnt
wtf is going on

i just rang up and the girl (who sounded at least 70 or 80,i wonder why they play old people movies all the time :loltold me 11pm but she still had no idea lol,i think she just checked the tv guide online

Not a bad venue...mid strength beer and nothing more.

From a viewing perspective you will not be on top of the play which can be frustrating. I would suggest that you don't sit at ground level.

I know that the scum have a supporters group in Melbourne but I doubt that there will be a scum function after the game ??.

Yeah fair point, you wouldn't want to show it live into Victoria when there are no AFL games, and with it being possibly one of the best games this year. Why would you want the opportunity to get thousands of non RL fans watch this game, I can see your point. :roll::roll:
