Well considering they've already sold more than 12k tickets you are wrong. With the Brett White being bitten incident the MRC did not say that Chewychewy Moimoi did not bite him, but that there was inconclusive evidence.

So now the rules are "if there is no evidence of something happening, it still happened"?

Come on Brett White was getting hammered and couldn't handle it..Big girl for mine..

The Eels should start this game as underdogs due to the form of Melbourne but writing us off is a massive mistake which we will make you pay for...:D

My wife and I went to the 1999 Grand Final and missed the party down here. There were still comatose people face down on Gosch's Paddock when the buses arrived back at OP on the Monday morning.

This time we're gonna watch it here and wait for the boys to come back.

Probably go to the prelim, depends on work.

For a team that has been around for 70 years in the heartland of rugby legaue you'd think they'd get more than people 3,597 per home game a year, than a team that are only in their 9th year in the comp not to mention in a state where AFL is a religion to the vast majority of people. When you look at those facts, the only thing it reflects is how dismal Parra's crowds. 14,450 in a league town, 10,853 in a non league town. Think before you speak next time knob ;-)

Yeah I was at the 99 GF also. I was surrounded by about 10,000 dragons fans. I also went to the Finals games V Parra and Bulldogs... where we came from behind both times.

If all goes according to my tips, I will be watching Storm V Knights. The other game for mine will be Dogs V Broncs.

I'm glad that McKinnon isn't playing but Burt has been on fire in recent times so i'm not sure.

A team that just got into the eight (the eels) compared to proberly one of the best teams in 26 rounds in 8 years (the storm) and you think its a joke we get 3,597 more people.

It doesn't change the fact that you're a team that's been around for 70 years in a league city as opposed to a team playing out of a city who the majority of people like AFL or nothing. Yes you just made the 8 by one game, but lets not forget you won something like 9 straight so you had plenty of time for the bandwagon to jump back on.

Whatever kind of positive spin you try and put on it, for a team in the heartland of league to only get that much more to a game than a team that are generally ingnored by most people here (sad but true) is pretty pathetic by anyone's standards. You know it, i know it and pretty much everyone else knows it ;-)

I can't believe you tossers are still crying about Brett White being a big girl. He was never bitten, he just could not hack the pace.

As for this weekend, we will show the entire NRL that melbourne are more of a sunshower than storm...

The only disappointment is that ther will only be about 12,000 there to witness it

Jump on the bandwagon Tank...stupid idiot !!. Tell me when you wake up...your nightmare has just begun !!

In that 9 match winning streak many games that were played away such as at Shark park and Aussie stadium there were more eels fans than the home team so its not pathetic.

Its storm didnt get that much i think the NRL would be tearing there hair out. Storm are proberly the most exciting team to watch in the NRL in many years and one of the best in 8 years as i have said. You know it, i know it and pretty much no one likes you.

Huh? Am i the only one that had trouble deciphering that? The parts i did get is that during the 9 game winning streak many of those games were played away from Parra but it's got me stuffed what that has to do with the anything. You were still winning weren't you? Who gives a toss where they were played, it doesn't change the fact your home crowds were 1734 down from the previous year while ours are 1959 UP junior ;-)

Oh and the only other part i understood in your post was that pretty much nobody likes me. Well i'm well and truly over that one already, it just means i'm doing my job properly :D

What a stupid argument!, do you wanna go back 25 years and have a look at the crowds, Parra were the first club to average crowds of 20,000, even though we haven't one a premiership since 86....look at our averages home & away and you'll see that not only are we the best supported side in Syd for the last 25 years but our averages haven't really changed much, the mind boggles to think how much more supporters we'd gain if we won a premiership.

Look at Canterbury, before 2002 there home crowds weren't bad, but not as high as they are now, they had the luxerey of gaining huge support through there 2002 unbeaten run/salary cap...then won the comp in 2004, add to that they have two of the most marketable players in the game, know woner they're getting good support at present, but it won't last, just turn up to one there games and you'll see that most people are there for mere social gatherings.

Melbournes crowds are disapointing, minor premiers, best side all year....for a sporting city there averages is unacceptable, also, they won a comp in 99 and recieved good support then, our crowd average dropped do to being 3 and 10, loosing a coach, scandals etc......even then we were still getting crowds of 10,000 plus, not many, if any Sydney NRL club could still get a guarentee 10,000 to a game even though they're are in the situation that i listed.

So f**k if our crowds drop in one year, it happens to every side, but i'll gaurentee our crowd average would be 20,00+ if we were in the same situation as the storm.

f**k off arse wipe!

I got on board in 98 and have stayed loyal during the lean years! I won't speak for anyone else but I sure as sh*t won't be jumping off any bandwagon! We aren't Swans supporters you know!

OP can hold 18,000. The first game had 20K+ and people were sitting on the running track!

Is that right is it? I don't know why you would gaurantee such a thing when it didn't happen a few years back. In 2001 Parra finished minor premiers with 20 wins, exactly the same as the Storm this year. They had 4 losses, exactly the same as the Storm and they had 2 draws while the Storm had 2 byes. Now isn't that a pretty much identical record to the Storm this year? I think even you'll agree that it is.

Your statement was you could gaurantee your crowd average would be 20,000+ if you were in the same position as the Storm which you were in 2001 yet your crowd average for that year was 16,671. Yes that's above the Storm's which you'd expect from a team in the games heartland. But it's also well below your projected gaurantee of 20,000+. So what makes you so sure you'd get that total this year if you were in our position compared to 2001 when you were in our EXACT same position? Was the weather bad that year, was Sydney going through an Olympic hangover? Or is there some other bullsh*t excuse for it?

I had a look at your home averages for the last 25 years and their history for that matter and the highest they've ever averaged was 19,600 in your premiership year in 86. But that was a one off and your next best year in history was 2001. If you want me to post your last 25 years individual crowd i will but right now i'll just say leave it that your combined average for the last 25 years when it comes to averages is 12,565. Do you think that figure is good or just plain average for a Sydney club? ;-)
