Stuart not waiting to start Blues revolution

That would be like thinking Hayne has already named to play fullback...

Just think Stuart is hedging...gives the opportunity for Ennis/Farah to make that spot their own.
It's actually nothing like that at all given the number of fullbacks in the core/emerging squads. You have Hayne, Dugan and Coote all automatically in the list, with Stewart having a lot of ground to make up. there are no Hookers in the squad/s at all. you took my point, and completely missed it.

If Stuart was hedging, why wouldn't Ennis and Farah BOTH be in the emerging squad, like he has done with every other position? Unless you're of the opinion that hooker is a lesser role in the team, and doesn't need to be a part of the bonding and whatever else this process is designed for?

Personally I think Mullen just needs to take control of the Knights more. His kicking game is valuable and Id love to see it in the Origin team. For now we wait.

Hayne's selection in the core squad, much like Gidley tells us only that they will be in the team. It says nothing about where they will be chosen. Hayne could be anywhere from 1-5, Gidley could be 1, 9 or 14.

Without knowing too much about the basis on which the squad was chosen (which has a number of inconsistencies whichever way you look at it) Ennis and Farah are clearly seen as more than "emerging" players

btw after Farah and Ennis, depth is thin...De Gois and Keating are really the only ones and if Stuart rated them, they'd be there (considering players like McCrone and Ayshford made it). There's no one else other than those who play NYC...Cameron King is probably the best of them and he's in the squad.

De Gois is very under rated. I'd prefer De Gois in my team over Ennis. Club and State

I dont understand why they just dont have it all on database, which player is eligible for who exactly. Have the player fill out a form or something, something to stop these amateurish mistakes.

They do. The player has their eligibility recorded on every contract they sign.

So where does the c**k-up happen? Is it that they put more then one eligibility there?

I guess they could. I believe in Low's case it was just the one.

Although it's not binding so if you want a player you try it on. I mean, BJ Leilua is named too, even though he was in the Kiwis' extended training squad for the 4N.

The eligibility tone of 2011 - state and international - was set by Uate's 'hardship' dispensation.

Hard to know unless you're involved in the process, but in the case of Low I would have thought it would have been obvious where his allegiences lie considering he played 2 matches for the junior Kiwis about 3 months ago.

I don't understand the anti-Gidley stance here.
A lot of blokes here forget that we looked better everytime he replaced Ennis, although it does mean less with Farrah being in the running now.

He's probably the most valuable NSW utility player since Craig Wing, although I'd have Wing back in a heartbeat.

shouldn't be mentioned in the same breath as Wing. Speaking of Wing, spastic never should have went to Souffs/Japan. Talk about a career breaker.

His work with the Roosters in 2006-07 wasn't exactly attention stealing either.

Nor was anyone elses at the end of Sticky's reign of terror. Chopping and changing positions like no tomorrow. Wing was playing centre at some point ffs. End of 07 he came good with a new coach...just after he signed with the scum
