Stupid Penalties Again

A couple of very silly play the ball penalties from Stevo, but I'll still take him over most other front rowers in the comp.

I think there was less penalties in the second half becuase Mander ran out of puff.....Inconsistent effort by the ref is putting it mildly!!!

the penalty after Stevens in the second half (not the send off - the play the ball) Cleal played the ball forward - no penalty. very inconsistent - however we need to play the whistle and get on with it - 2 bins in 2 weeks is not good enough

Lozza's a f***wit. Every dog has his day.

I had all intentions of watching the WHOLE game and then take my daughter to the club for tea. But Dailey and Smith just turned me right off and at half time I left. When we got there, the footy was on in the Bistro, but at least they had the sound turned down, so I didn't have to listen to those two dribble on!! :D

Nice to get the 2 points though, but Nutley needs a reef up the arse for his discipline early in games... 3 penalties in 2 minutes is ridiculous!! Stuey should have pulled him off then and given it to him. Stevo needs to learn how to play the ball as he played another one incorrectly BEFORE he was pinged twice for it!!

Stevens had a shocker. I think we've seen the best of Stevo.

I think he played great tonight. It was great to see him fired up, and he's off-loading too.

He's making more of an impact then Beattie is.

Nutley. What can I say? The bloke just needs a real good back-hander from Stuey or the boys to sort him out.

For each Penalty he concedes, he gets a smack in the chops from one of the boys.

A little drastic - but it'll work!

I thought he looked a little out of sorts early, particularly in the first 20 minutes. :?

Sharks gave away so many penalties in the first half. Time and time again they allowed Manly to get out of their own end through a stupid penalty.
It's something that the players really need to work on because unlike Manly, stronger teams will easily put points on the board against us in these situations.

I thought Stevens played well and has consistently played well for us in all 3 rounds so far. But being penalised for not playing the ball correctly is just downright pathetic

Stevens was awesome, Nutley was apaaling again, it's nearly time for Green to replace him.

I felt sorry for Lomu. he kept getting pinged for play-the-ball infringements which he got away with at the Rooters... ;-)

you hate nutley

I don't use the term hate that loosely. He has given me the shits in the first three games this year though. The penalties he gives away are so blatant and useless. I enjoyed him tearing in last year but if we have better in PL who don't give away dumb coach killing penalties then why should he stay?
