You know what? Our decision to not let Lyon go to Manly was supposed to piss him off, not Manly.

We are angry at Cleal and Lyon, not necessarily at Manly.

And yet you fickle fans come on here and try to start something over a fat tub of moronoic lard who betrayed the team that got him started in footy?

Lyon became everything he is today as a footballer under Parramatta and Head Coach Smith.

Did he have the decency to ask for a release? No/ He just walked out.

Leuluai was unwanted and asked for a release.

Lyon WAS wanted and DID NOT ask for a release. He walked out on his mates, his teammates, the coach who made him and his fans.

The two scenarios are NOTHING alike (the only similar aspect is that both players were unable to sign with another NRL team). Yet you Manly fans - you petty, petty people - come on here looking to sling crap over nothing.

I love Parra and I hate Manly, always have and always will. but I will agree that Menzies was great and can still offer a lot of good footy even without Cliffy.

I am also a little unsure of Tahu.
When him and Gidley were paired up for the blues they were great in attack but in defence they were always heart stoppers.

Tahu is a good buy for us because he is pretty young and has obvious attacking ability. Hopefully he will learn how to defend well here too.

The difference with guys like Witt is that they had chances to prove themselves in the main game and failed.
If he goes ok at Manly good luck to him but he doesn't go any good here so we don't want him.
