Totally sparrow, I think the sullys, the prestons, the benji marhsalll style halves will kill UKSL defences. They are always on the back foot over there, most sets travel 60+metres, those nippy halves that have good support play will be huge headaches !

Your post is very bare, why did you get rid of the pics?

I'm in the depression phase now. Only acceptance to go and then I will be able to move on!

I'm also someone who is very big on loyalty.

I'm with you there. Has an announcement been made yet? It is just prolonging the agony.I feel like a member of the family is going away.

Guess I'll have to take the photos down off the ceiling now. He'll be the new UK pin up guy. Better than Becks ever was.

Robo is in QLD with work and everytime he gets a break he rings home to see what the Sharks news is. Who's leaving and who's rumoured to go there.

Hehe, nah my brother was England not too long ago and he says that league is pretty much a nothing sport over there, so I doubt Becks' will be challenged much!

If you're in a league Area then it's huge other than that, it barely is recognised.

But each year we are improving, so it's a time issue.

Sully does sound like a cracking player, i just hope it comes off.

No offence but I hope it doesn't come off but I fear it will. We need him here to help the Sharkies to their first ever premiership win.

Great Picture....Although I don't think Brent Grose will be too impressed.

Brent's an ex Shark, that's why I used his body

BTW is he off contract in November?

Was going to be but....................

Wolves in form back Brent Grose, 26 has extended his contract by three years today to keep him at The Halliwell Jones Stadium until 2008. His original contract was due to expire in November of this year.

A NEW 3 YEAR DEAL SIGNED THAT WILL SEE YOU STAY WITH THE WOLVES UNTIL THE END OF 2008, YOU MUST BE DELIGHTED?
I’m very happy to stay here as is my fiancée Kylie. I love it here and I can see myself staying here for the rest of my career.

WHAT WERE THE FACTORS IN DECIDING YOUR FUTURE LAY HERE AT THE HALLIWELL JONES STADIUM?
There were a few factors I had to take into consideration. I have been here a few years and that I was happy here on and off the field. This place is really going somewhere and I wanted to be part of it.

WHERE DO YOU SEE THE WOLVES IN 3 YEARS TIME?
Competing in the Grand Final and winning them. I think that goal is achievable now and in the coming years.

DO YOU SEE YOURSELF RETUNING TO THE NRL AFTER 2008?
I’m not holding out for offers to go back then. I have had offers for next year but I’m not interested, Warrington is where I call my home now.

IN YOUR TWO AND A HALF YEARS HERE WHAT HAS BEEN YOUR FONDEST MEMORIES?
My first year was a great year when we made the top six. The whole leaving Wilderspool event and being my first year made it exciting and really enjoyable.

FANS WERE CRITICAL OF YOU AT FULL BACK INITIALLY. YOU NOW LOOK LIKE YOU HAVE PLAYED THERE ALL YOUR CAREER, IS IT A GREAT FEELING TO PROVE THE DOUBTERS WRONG?
It is but I don’t pay to much attention to the doubters. The only people I listen to are the coaching staff, my team mates and my Dad.

LOOKING AHEAD TO FRIDAY NIGHT’S GAME, DO YOU THINK THE TIME IS RIGHT TO BREAK THE WOLVES KNOWSLEY ROAD HOODOO?
It couldn’t be a better time could it? We are all confident that we can come away with two points on Friday.

CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR IMPENDING WEDDING AT THE END OF THE SEASON, IS IT HARD TO ORGANISE THIS WITH YOUR RUGBY COMMITMENTS?
Kylie my fiancée sorted most of it out before we flew over here for this season, I leave most of the planning to her. I’m really looking forward to married life!

Brent was a fine young centre/winger, he'd be good to come into our lineup.

I'll never forget him making 40 tackles on the wing against Newcastle in THAT Preliminary Final.

Sullivan to Wire

Cronulla Sharks utility Michael Sullivan has continued the player movement frenzy by signing a two-year deal with English club Warrington, with a one year option.

Sharks general manager Steve Rogers has yet to confirm the signing whilst not giving away the reason as to why this is.

"It's up to the other end. Michael has been open and forthright in discussions but there are still a few minor issues to be resolved," Rogers told AAP.

"We still have issues to be resolved which I won't go into."

It is believed the reason for the move to the UK is for Sullivan to repay the Cronulla Sharks after they bailed him out of a gambling debt recently.
