I don't recall Turuva ever playing centre for an extended period of time. Maybe he filled in during a game (because of injury).
He generally plays either wing or fullback.
I don’t think he will take the FB role, unless Bula is injured at this stage.
He’s got the speed we have desperately needed, so I reckon he’ll fit in there. He said as much, as well.

Yeah I haven’t seen him either. It was reported when we signed him that he wanted the play centre, personally I don’t think he had the attributes for it and would prefer him on the wing, however our centre stock’s are so poor that they may start him there

They are very different players.
Turuva started his first grade a tad earlier and played over 50 games (I think) which is about 30 more games than Bula. Don't quote me ha ha.
Point is, Turuva has a bit more experience, especially after playing with the best team in the world.
I'm sure Bula, once he has another preseason under his belt, will continue to develop in a better roster than the last two years. He has to be fit though after just having off season surgery.
It would be foolish to suggest that Bula be taken from a position that he's been groomed for and feels comfortable in.
I believe Turuva will cement a wing spot which he excels in and cover for Bula at fullback if he's unavailable.
Like all the Tiger players, Bula hasn't had the best introduction to first grade with the coaching merry-go-round and all the press hounding the Tigers.
Players like Jahream hopefully will be rejuvenated by an improved roster and even though Benji hasn't got the coaching experience and expertise as yet, what he has got is a full on, full steam ahead approach to 2025.
I believe the NRL will also benefit from a Tigers team playing good footy, something fresh and interesting.

I reckon Bula might be one for the surprises of this season. I think he is naturally a very fit guy like Galvin and he'll go all game. He just needs to add a touch of class to his game.

He's got class but lacks consistency and experience, that will come with more games. First thing first though, as he needs to get over his injury and get contact fit
I wonder if he's still got Inglis in his corner?
