ARLINGTON, Texas -- Christina Aguilera flubbed a line as she belted out the national anthem at the start of the Super Bowl Sunday night.

When she was supposed to sing the line "O'er the ramparts we watched, were so gallantly streaming," she instead repeated an earlier line, with a slight variation.
She sang "What so proudly we watched at the twilight's last gleaming," which is the same line from earlier in the song but with the word 'watched' instead of the word 'hailed.'
The mistake immediately set social networks abuzz with people commenting on the error.
Aguilera's representative didn't immediately return a call and an e-mail seeking comment.
She's not the first person to mess up the lines of "The Star-Spangled Banner." In 2001, Macy Gray was famously booed for her off-kilter rendition of the national anthem.
Gray garbled the words at the Hall of Fame Game in Canton, Ohio, her home state. She later told The Associated Press: "That was definitely life's most embarrassing moment."

holy crap im dunk.

smashed a whole heinken 5l keg and a few more. sue me motherf**krs. repped my LT jersey. whatever

thoughts, pissed.

A. pre game was boring. bradshaw is an idiot, the impersonator is not funny. sandler cant throw. the best part was the cowboys love in with jones, johnson, johnstone and irvine. monk probably had to take a breather afterwards. NRL is much better with gould and what not.
B. packers deserved victors. without injuries they should have been 14-2 and top of the nfc. the steelers didnt play their best but that was due to a packers d that limited big plays and created their own. full kudos to Rodgers. well done mate.
i see the key play being the fumble. if mendenhall dosnt fumble there they probably score and who knows? thats was the biggest play for mine. if the steelers win and he dosnt lose it there he's the mvp.
didnt think Mcarthy had it in him but well done. wish norv was as good.
jennings was good. so was starks when he needed to be. white receiver cost me a motza. f**kwit.

C. BEP only got a pass mark because Slash appeared. he probably didnt know where he was but the man is a legend, axl will probably sue for using his music unsanctioned.

D. i won it all back..kinda (it happened first)

on the national anthem. onya Xtina.

im sad the season is over. hopefully the chargers do better next year. up the sharks!

footy never ends for us LU NFL guys.

congratulations to packers fans.

awesome game - as a canberra raiders fan and GB Packers, I have not had that much to cheer about.

Rodgers, the guy should have had killer stats today, so many dropped passes from his receivers. Although they did make the plays when they had too, which is fine.

That was a solid come back from the steelers and overall a good game, had the day off and just bummed it at home watching it live. I noticed TEN had the game live also, but figured it would be smashed with commercials and it was! lucky for foxtel and in particular ESPN!

Packers defence was too good.

Matthews hit on Mendenhall produced the turnover at a crucial time. Big hit on the Steelers best at a pivotal point in the game. Add it to the other turnovers and the intercept TD.

Rodgers threw incredibly accurate passes at key moments of the match.

Defence on both sides kept pressure on all match.

I thought the end fizzled a bit. Steelers had 3 downs for 5 yards and went for the big play each time with a minute to go for 3 in-completions. I thought they had the time and field position to get the first down and go again.

Even had a 2 point conversion. Top game.

NFC represent! Well done to the entire Packers organisation and of course Packers fans. The game itself was good, maybe even great but as a neutral fan and not hating either of the teams I just couldn't completely get into it. Especially after watching the Saints win in Miami the previous year.

Here's to hoping the Saints and Packers meet sometime in the 2011 Playoffs (if the season goes ahead of course)
