Well the game went as I predicted, Packers getting the win.
Rodgers was great today, particularly considering that his receivers dropped at least 4 passes today, a couple may have lead to TDs and would've at least kept drives alive. He wasn't perfect today, but he was great when he needed to be and his accuracy under pressure was immense. I thought the Packers deviated from the run a little too much at times but it seemed to work for them, that WR corps is a talented bunch. On defense I've said for a while they're underrated and today they really stepped up. With their defensive MVP and another CB missing they dug deep and did the job, Capers deserves immense credit for the job that defense did. Very happy to see the Packers win it all, I think they will be very competitive for years to come.
Regarding the Steelers, Big Ben played very poorly, as he was for many parts of the Jets game. If it wasn't for his scrambling they would've lost by a bit more. He missed at least one TD and a couple of 1st down conversions due to inaccurate throws, he just didn't come up with big plays when it was most needed, particularly at the end of the game. Mendenhall was great but his fumbling problems are a huge concern, that fumble was a back breaker. Steelers defense was ok, Polamalu looks like he's lost a step, still can't believe he won Defensive player of the year.
Anyhoo congrats to the Packers, NFC wins again for the second year running
