ftr my recording failed, gutted
am downloading the game now, im looking forward to watching it now

based on what ive read:
sounds like Jordy dropped an SB MVP award. Mathews had less big plays than i thought he'd have but still made an impact on the game
Nick Collins played outstanding.

looking forward to seeing it all unfold for myself. Genuinely shocked with a 2 minute drill in a SB that Big Ben didnt march them down the field and win the game

A. pre game was boring. bradshaw is an idiot, the impersonator is not funny. sandler cant throw. the best part was the cowboys love in with jones, johnson, johnstone and irvine. monk probably had to take a breather afterwards. NRL is much better with gould and what not.
B. packers deserved victors. without injuries they should have been 14-2 and top of the nfc. the steelers didnt play their best but that was due to a packers d that limited big plays and created their own. full kudos to Rodgers. well done mate.
i see the key play being the fumble. if mendenhall dosnt fumble there they probably score and who knows? thats was the biggest play for mine. if the steelers win and he dosnt lose it there he's the mvp.
didnt think Mcarthy had it in him but well done. wish norv was as good.
jennings was good. so was starks when he needed to be. white receiver cost me a motza. f**kwit.

C. BEP only got a pass mark because Slash appeared. he probably didnt know where he was but the man is a legend, axl will probably sue for using his music unsanctioned.

D. i won it all back..kinda (it happened first)

on the national anthem. onya Xtina.

im sad the season is over. hopefully the chargers do better next year. up the sharks!

footy never ends for us LU NFL guys.

congratulations to packers fans.

just archiving this post for the record in case he deletes it when he sobers up :D

Finished watching the game not long ago. Working for myself and still can't get the day off. lol
Great win for the Packers given the injuries and the Steelers experience. It looked like a matter of time before the Steelers took the lead and won the game. Somehow the Packers hung in.

Well deserved MVP for Rodgers, couldn't have done more to win the game for the Pack. At times I though Mike Martz was calling the plays for the Packers with all the pass plays they had at one stage in the second half when they needed to chew some time and give there defence a break.

Had to record the game on ESPN, First time I've realised just how bad a commentator Joe Theisman is. Almost put me to sleep!
Great game in the end, not the greatest, but at least we're getting some pretty good SB's lately.

he wasn't up against the cardinals d this time. he was facing a real nfl d.

plus there was no santonio holmes to throw to this time round.

Well the game went as I predicted, Packers getting the win.

Rodgers was great today, particularly considering that his receivers dropped at least 4 passes today, a couple may have lead to TDs and would've at least kept drives alive. He wasn't perfect today, but he was great when he needed to be and his accuracy under pressure was immense. I thought the Packers deviated from the run a little too much at times but it seemed to work for them, that WR corps is a talented bunch. On defense I've said for a while they're underrated and today they really stepped up. With their defensive MVP and another CB missing they dug deep and did the job, Capers deserves immense credit for the job that defense did. Very happy to see the Packers win it all, I think they will be very competitive for years to come.

Regarding the Steelers, Big Ben played very poorly, as he was for many parts of the Jets game. If it wasn't for his scrambling they would've lost by a bit more. He missed at least one TD and a couple of 1st down conversions due to inaccurate throws, he just didn't come up with big plays when it was most needed, particularly at the end of the game. Mendenhall was great but his fumbling problems are a huge concern, that fumble was a back breaker. Steelers defense was ok, Polamalu looks like he's lost a step, still can't believe he won Defensive player of the year.

Anyhoo congrats to the Packers, NFC wins again for the second year running

in all honesty the packers got a bit lucky on 4th and 5 at the end of the game.... i dont knwo the the number but Ben had a wide open man towards the close sideline for a 1st down and if not another 15+ with all the space he had.... so the pack lucky he doesn't see him
