Wigan are back. And asif a 44-0 win can be dismissed. Wigan will win this week in 1st gear and then go and thump Warrington to settle the debate on who is better.

The next supercoach of rugby league will return home having won 2 leagues and a cup in 2 years.
So much for the Warrington part.

Anyway, two tough games to go, Saints and then Leeds in the final.

All the best to Wigan, hope they can pull it out.

Who knows maybe a Warriors v Warriors WCC.

Hope not though...

Nah its all good. Leeds played well and looked dangerous in attack. Wire looked nervous at the start but got better. Defence wasn't as tight as always.

I'd rather of been knocked out by the try near the end, or a pen for a high shot etc. anything but offside as a lot of talk will be about ganson (for the third week running), and thats what he wants.

Still good luck to leeds in the final, next year we will be back even better.
Ganson got that call 100% correct. It's great to see a ref who's not afraid to make the big calls....

That was a terrible decision by the ref to award a goal-line dropout when Meli clearly pushed the Wigan defender as he was shielding the ball into touch. They scored off the next set. But they won by more than a converted try, so kudos I guess....

Sorry, one last thing about yesterday's match, Ben Westwood. Am I missing something here, or is he THE most over-rated player in SL??? Who was it just the other day saying that he'd be playing origin if he was Aussie!?!?!?!? It wasn't you was it Homer?...

I never used to rate him, but if you watch him regularly he is an excellent player. Dream Team 3 times in the last 4 years tells its own story. On Friday he was making his return from 6 weeks out, he wasn't supposed to be playing again this season.

(So it was you! ;) )

Fair enough, I'll give him the benefit of the doubt, I usually catch about one full SL match a week though and can't say I've ever seen him stand out. I'd still have Morley in the national side ahead of him any day...

One of my greatest memories of Westwood was when he tried to be a tough guy and got decked by Viane

Leeds Vs Saint Helens then, I like it. Considering St Helens just can't seem to beat Leeds in the Grand Final, god knows they've had enough tries at it over the past four years.

Maybe. But he could of give a decision for one of the other 97 times a player was offside. Including the set where he actually told the Leeds players to stop being offside 3 times in one set and didn't give anything.

Nope he waited till the last second. Joke ref. Totally inconsistent and just seems to make decisions up to see if he can get a reaction from the crowd.
Not sure where the myth that Warrington got everything comes from. But Leeds fans are the worse in the league for booing refs (and England players) and moaning. Its a Yorkshire thing. :D
