The best story of the season so far was watching 17yo Jack Walker earn man of the match for Leeds v St Helens a couple of nights ago, what a rare talent he is. This is what SL should be all about and more clubs striving for rather than seeing crap overseas players going through the motions.

Catalans had a brave win first hit out under their new coach.
Lost Myler early, Came from 18 pts down even after getting absolutely shafted for a Leigh try, to win in the dying seconds.

I thought McNamara too charge last week for the Leeds game?

He did take charge last week, but that was the Warrington game. This week was his first home game.

Catalans won in the dying seconds, but deserved to win because the ref had awarded a bogus try to Leigh's Hopkins after another Leigh player with the ball stepped into touch unnoticed by the touchie or the ref.

Can anyone confirm a story I heard on reddit that the Leigh president tried to fight Greg Bird during a post match interview?

Cas 10 pts clear with their escape last night

I'd pay good money to watch their finals matches with old mate commentating

Super 8s look all but certain from the SL end.

Huddersfield need 1 point from the next 2 games to put themselves beyond reach.
90% likely

Warrington
Catalans
Widnes
Leigh

Meanwhile in the Championship Halifax beat TO to move to 4th spot with 2 games to play.
In their final 2 games both play Featherstone and Hull KR... so an interesting finish.
KR are certain to finish on top and London should have 2nd wrapped up.
3 way battle for 3rd and 4th between Featherstone Halifax and Toulouse

Huds win seals the bottom 4.

Catalans and Warrington will be 1 and 2 in the middle 8s, Leigh and Widnes 3 and 4, exact order pending on the final round of regular matches.

They've had massive injury problems and lack depth in some areas. They've been without their first choice halves for ages. Won't make the four now.

Doesnt hurt. Will make them tougher in the long term if the set back doesnt detail them. I say that not knowing the strength of the club and its support/backing.
