I thought getting pumped by 304 from 50 overs last game was bad...

Opposition scored 7/359 today.

Ouch....

We only got 175. f**king lefty opening bowler was 1/4 after 6 overs. And I got out for 44 off like 30 balls with 9 balls left in the innings. And we dropped five catches and had three absolutely dead LBW decisions turned down. And we lost by 4 wickets...

Frustrating day for skipper Baz.

This I am brutally aware of. Also playing 3-4 grades above my talent does not help.

Yeah I have a similar problem. Which is why I just swing. Might get a duck, might get 50. But if I'm good at T20 (and surprisingly I am, average 40 at 145) I might as well play the same way in 50 over cricket....

You should play LMS. Some people do just swing and profit from the fact there's fewer fielders but a lot fail. I found it really helped me work out my game a lot more. Less pressure to hang around, being T20, meant I could play more instinctively and start playing the field using my strengths...and I don't care how many fielders you have, if I can hit the ball 130m over cover and point they aren't going to matter.

Yeah that’s my plan going forward. Just put one foot forward and swing.

Normally pretty safe getting after width so long as you really go after it IMO. Generally in park cricket you'll get away with it.

Lol my new GP is a Pakistani bloke, great dude and a cricket tragic. Saw him to get a referral for an arthrogram on my busted shoulder and he was giving me shit for not making the half century mark in the weekend...
