It was more the half bottle of Fernet Branca I had last night...

If it wasn't for the night out being with the global brand ambassador for Fernet Branca, I doubt I would have had any until the next staff shindig. On his advice I had it with ginger beer, and it was actually quite refreshing. The bitterness was gone and the mint freshened the drink.

Must admit I'm not a huge fan of Fernet style amaro. I don't mind Averna though
