Well the best NSW 5/8 played about 8 minutes of hooker tonight, hooker Farah is the best of a slim bunch, and anyone other than Pearce will be a better 1/2 option.

There is no point changing the halves. They've both been ok under the circumstances. We were shocked early, we've been on the back foot all game and as a side we haven't recovered. QLD wouldn't change the halves, there is a reason they've won 7 in a row.

Always been a fan of Mullen, he finds the grass with his kicks more than any other player in the comp. He tends to only be good for the first 10 matches of a season and then disappears.

I think his chance has gone, he was a serious contender in the year Soward was chosen, we should have picked Mullen, like two of our halves' kicks all series found grass.

The only better option is possibly 6-Carney 7-Maloney. In all honesty, our halves are good enough if the rest of the side is. As a team they weren't tonight. We definitely missed Hayne, his boot would have really helped deep in our own end.
