Farah is usually pretty good. What we need is Hayne back, they shouldn't let him play club footy.
I love Maloney, but f**k he's been ordinary, that said he's still been better than Carney and Soward were for NSW.
People don't understand Pearce's value. His value is his hunger and determination, not his play making ability.
The only changes NSW need to make is Hayne back to fullback and bring in someone else for Merritt on the wing.
Other than that I'd say definitely still a chance for origin 3.
Always been a fan of Mullen, he finds the grass with his kicks more than any other player in the comp. He tends to only be good for the first 10 matches of a season and then disappears.
I think his chance has gone, he was a serious contender in the year Soward was chosen, we should have picked Mullen, like two of our halves' kicks all series found grass.
Tentatively the week before game 3
Sticky was saying that he may not even play him in the week before teams are named to make sure he is alright for game 3.
So much...
Why did Maloney not get the ball? Just completely go away from what won game one. NSW at its finest.
Ok, he's not rubbish. He's just nothing special. I retract my 'rubbish' statement.
Farah wasn't bad. Not much else he could do.
Unfortunately, we don't really have anyone for him to compete for the spot with.
Damn i miss the days of Buderus starting then Wingy coming on after 1/2 hour. .
Also, tempted to bump Dinkos Farah love thread. But i may wait until we flog the tigpies this weekend.
Why are we, as fans of NSW, accepting 'not terrible' of Maloney/Pearce? Maloney at least acquitted himself well in Game One before disappearing tonight.
Pearce has never had a good game of Origin.
The political happenings tonight were much more interesting than origin.
I've been complaining about Pearce's selection for a few years but I've just come to accept he'll be in the team, all the complaining in the world won't change thatWhy are we, as fans of NSW, accepting 'not terrible' of Maloney/Pearce? Well firstly, not terrible in that circumstance is a lot better than it sounds. And secondly, there is no one better than Pearce. Maloney will be a very good Origin player IMO. We could try pairing him with Carney but that's really the only other option that will worry QLD I think
Seriously, how many f**king years in a row do you have to lose to want it more than the banjo strummers?
