Yeah definitely see some bands and it helps that my girl likes good music.

No real plans yet Mis we only decided last week that America/Canada is where we want to see next. Open to suggestions!

On the bright side, I narrowed down my "Ten potential study options abroad" down to four for my application. Time to hand this sucker in and get approved. My marks are good enough.

Come on Boston or North Carolina. :D

I have absolutely zero desire to visit North America. I reckon Central + South America would be good to visit if they weren't so violent (i know it's a generalisation, but still). I'll stick with galavanting around Asia, would love to visit India next when the cricket is back there.

I love US culture; the movies, the sports, the food, the holidays... Plus, their girls are much more open and much less vapid than Australian girls who are, with a few exceptions, generally shallow, entitled merkins.

----

Would love to do South and Central America. Almost done with Asia - I really only want to visit India, revisit Japan, and check out the Malaysia/Philippines/Indonesia area.

You MUST do Vegas, IMO. That place if beyond amazing. I went there when I was a kid and I still loved it.

Didn't we have a Facebook convo about this last week? Haha.

It's not that I hate Americans or anything like that, I just find I enjoy visiting different cultures and experiencing the lifestyle on offer. Canada + USA would be just too similar to home for me.

Agree with the Aust women thing though, want everything yet give nothing compared to their foreign counterparts.

You said it, brother. Every one of them is Daddy's gift to the world. I support the ideals behind the feminist movement, but damned if it hasn't created a generation of entitled, emotionally vapid brats.

Vegas is the shit. Definitely worth a visit. Cut sick and just be decadent.

I wanna drive the whole Route 66 one day.

Route 1 is better ;-)

Lol I had it on my first night back hahahaha

Bah!

one thing i did enjoy was starting at one end of the strip at midday and just following the happy hours down the other end to 7pm. first is 12-1, second bar is 1-2, then 2-4 etc. Then the place we stayed at had $2 bud lights on special so safe to say i was written off by 10pm.

Bud. Eww.

Lies. One should always go to America. Rad country full of generally okay people, but ruled by rich idiots.

Lots of this.

Cant believe you only had a day in NYC, I had ten and feel I didnt see all I could've

Best to leave wanting more!

Two words: Micro breweries!!!!!

Oh man, me too. King's writing is the reason I'm so fascinated with lakes. I was just about overwhelmed when I saw my first real lake back in 2009.
