Mother in law stayed over and did the feeds for the night. Just clocked up 8 hours sleep. Winning

Eight hours is died and gone to heaven stuff when you have a youngster.

Fatherhood is treating me well. Just need to get this exam on Monday out of the way. Wifey is doing really, really well now. Massive turn around. She's 95% back to normal

Yeah, I think it would be naive to consider she would return 100%. In saying that, she has taken really well to motherhood and is doing great at it so maybe part of the change has to do with them adapting to do the role of mother better.

Things are progressing well which is comforting, but you are right. Funny I say what I did this morning; she is a bit cranky as I am studying as much as I can (irony - LUing now :crazy so is cranky as she feels I'm not helping. Yet I asked her mum to come up specifically to pick up the slack and the situation will only last until tomorrow evening then I'm good to go concentration wise until next year.

Oh well. Two steps forward, one step back.

Agree wholeheartedly. The good thing is the changes are happening. I can tell stuff is altering in my mind and view of things; its funny how kids do that.
