Anyone ever dislocated their femur? I didn't think it was possible...until last night.

Ouch. How'd you do it?

Don't have many details. I'm accused of "consumption of a product without payment." So, theft. I have a job at this stage but I've been suspended with pay. I'm on leave as of today anyway

Sounds like they are trying to do something shifty. Will be praying for your bro.

There are so many people whose work is so insignificant and lacking in meaning that they spend all their time trying to cause trouble and pain for others around them. This is part of the reason why working in a dead-end environment like retail or menial office work is so depressing and soul-numbing. When you've spent 20 years working for Coles there is no light at the end of the tunnel, so why not drag everyone else down with you?

Most workplaces like this have a severe merkin problem.

Fortunately for me (and for my now-fragile mental state due to the other injuries), it was my sparring partner who managed it while attempting a roundhouse kick in a fight. I've no idea how he did it!

Worst case scenario, when the ball of the femur pops back into the socket of the hip it can (if you're very unlucky) cause damage to the blood flow around the end of the femur and kill the bone around it. Chronic pain in the hip can result, but with good care and a little luck they can make a full recovery. Best of luck to them!

I take it that's what you meant when the femur dislocated? At the hip, or was it at the knee end?

From what I remember Lawrence has had problems with the hamstring which has been limiting his stride more than anything relating directly to the hip.
