Primarily I'd like to focus on wine catering and restaurant consulting. Basically I realised that (at least in Canberra) there aren't many companies catering wine for functions, and the ones that do include it are selling garbage at a premium price. So I wanna give people good juice at a better price basically. The idea is we'll cater wine packs for any sized event, from a dinner party at home to a wedding, and deliver the wine. That side of it really came from the number of people coming into work for the wine with absolutely no idea and basically ending up taking their trolley and filling it for them. They might as well stay home and have me do the same thing.
Also going to offer wine list consulting for the restaurants and cafes that aren't big enough for the reps to bother visiting, because so many of them have hopeless lists but loads of potential...offer guided tastings for their staff so they know the wines, run tastings in peoples homes as well. And then just for a bit of extra income we'll do hampers at certain times of the year, because you can go into DJs and get a bottle of Koonunga Hill worth $15 plus assorted foodstuff worth about $30 for $200...so why not offer people a bottle of say Clonakilla Shiraz Viognier and the same or better foodstuff for the same price?
Might be a huge flop, we'll see :lol:
