Wife, actually. Had an argument at 3am in the morning. Then kiddo got up at 5:30 and had constipation until 7:30 when she did a massive poo. :crazy:

Bahahaha UC. They closed down the old res a few years ago when I was there. Just about the entire population got especially sauced and/or high as f**k at UC Bar and someone decided it would be a good idea to hold a bonfire out the front. Using all their mattresses.

The old res is all classrooms and offices now, they built a new one

It's the end of an era at work. Our awesome, laid back Aussie boss is moving on to bigger and better things and he's being replaced by an as yet unknowable Chinese quantity.

I was pretty close to re-signing for another year recently, but the change of management doesn't fill me with excitement for next year. Not that I expect daily beatings and pay cuts, but the big draw of this place (for me) was working for a boss who actually gave a crap about us English monkeys. My experience under Asian management in the past has made me dubious.

Plus, Thailand sounds pretty f**king amazing.
