Won a meat tray for the first time in forever (and it's a bloody big one too).

Downside, I need to transport that bad boy for over 6 hours without refrigeration...

Finished watching The Wire. Good series overall, it has lots of re-watch value too. The last episode was a bit disappointing though, I think they could have split into two one hour episodes (it's about 90 mins long) and answered the "What happens to everyone?" question a little stronger.

I think I've re-watched it about 5 times, still seem to pick up on small things I miss each re-watch
I thought the ending was fine though, it just kinda shows how it goes full circle, the young generation are falling into very similar roles as the earlier/older characters. I don't mind leaving a bit of speculation and wondering for myself instead of it all tied up neatly.

Yeah, I already feel like watching the first few seasons again to experience it now having the knowledge of what happens to certain characters.

The last episode was still good. Some scenes were awesome (eg. the wake). To me it seems like the resolutions for some specific characters were rushed though. It felt like they were all tacked onto the end of an episode that was mostly about something else, i.e the fallout from what had been happening in the last few episodes. I think they could easily made the resolutions a separate episode in its own and padded it out without losing anything.
