Bought my friends 4 year old daughter a doona cover for her birthday. I gave it to her mum over the weekend.

Just woke up (crashed out with a headache pretty early) to the sweetest voicemail from the little one (using her mums phone of course) going on and on about how much she loved it and made her mum put it on her bed straight away and she's coming over on Friday to give me a big hug and kiss and see my pretty house, meaning the Christmas lights.

Made me feel all happy. My friends have really been neglected by me recently and in turn have neglected me. I was in a pretty terrible place and shut myself off, I can't really blame them. Hopefully I'm starting to earn something back.

Truth. Some of the decisions this game's administration make are just mind boggling. People blamed Gallop, but he's doing some excellent work for the FFA now.

Agree, Gallop wasn't the problem. It's News Ltd's sway, the Dousts, Politis', Greenbergs, et al who are turning the game into an entertainment business and thus destroying the DNA of the sport.

The businessisation (or professionalism) of rugby league is its seed of destruction and it will reap what it has sown...
