Carton purchased, cricket on. Day good.

pure blonde here (drinking it because on a health kick.. yes i realise the irony of drinking any kind of beer), cricket on in the background (although mini-muzby has recently comandeered the TV so it's showing mr maker..), assignment less than half done.

the last part means my day is not so good.

Contemplating opening a bottle of chivas.

Going to cook a couple of racks of pork ribs in a little while. Might wait til I start cooking before I start drinking.

pfft. all the good chefs are already drunk hours before they start cooking...

and chivas - never really had it.. is it that good? say compared to johnny walker black label?

I tend to burn stuff when I'm drunk. Considering ribs take about 2 hours to cook, It'll be a race between us to see who is most baked by the end.

Chivas = JW Black imo. Couldn't say one or the other is better.

Both are ordinary tbph

As for me, my local had a carton of Balmain Pale marked down to $40 and I've just started cranking out the Sunday roast. Well, my latest experimental twist on it anyway. Butterflied Greek style lamb leg on the bbq. Using the meaty bits off the bone and the end of the shin to make croquettes

I should add I generally drink scotch straight. I usually stock up on whatever single malts are on sale for under 60 or 70 tbh...I have expensive tastes on a bachelors budget  If nothing is on special, The Glenlivet is a handy single malt for $50 odd or I'll go a Monkey Shoulder or a Dimple 15yo.

There's nothing wrong with Black or Chivas. I just think they're middle of the road and overpriced. That said Black and Double Black are easily the best of the JW range

You bastards are making me hungry. I'm hungover and all that's in the place is Mi Goreng, Mac & Cheese, tinned soup, and some leftover Indian from a few days ago. None of it appetizing right now.

my first yo gabba gabba experience was when I was in intensive care and far from with it after I had my heart attack and was on the screen for the 20 odd minutes of the rare times in those few days I was conscious.

Nearly had a relapse lol, would have been better off watching It stoned

also, cant find where my bro put his cooking oil and cant ring him as he is tracking around in Cambodia somewhere. How much butter would one use as a replacement to cook up some sausage and eggs or tea? never used it like that before
