As a teacher, I can safely say that the feelings of my students are the least of my concerns between the finish of one semester/term and the beginning of the next.

I could get an email saying "Respond or they'll kill me" and I'd ignore it until I was back on the clock.

This is a little different mate. Firstly because this is a University in Australia rather than a school in a third world country :sarcasm:

When results are released there is a three (working) day period where students can discuss any issues with their grade with the course coordinators before they have to formally appeal (and fork out $50). I don't think it's too much to ask for them to spend a few minutes maximum having a quick look at their emails in this three day period to see if the students have any issues with their grades.

The good news he has replied this evening and as suspected an assignment worth 28%, that I got 25.2 for, wasn't included in my final grade. Lol, good one brah. The difference between a pass and a HD.
