 This is the biggest mistake to any industry. You don't save time as you come back and waste time correcting errors.

Yep. Completely agree.

No, that's for Latte sippin' smoke suckers!

Mocha's are for people who want to look like they're drinking a coffee without having any idea what the taste of coffee is.

Top down forecasting rarely works. I spent many years of my working life arguing with the bean counters on that very point. Yep, you are knocking your head on the wall with that lot though.

I know, my boss is useless too so its an uphill battle all the time. She hates detail and wants things completely simplified without realising there's no integrity to work without detail.

I always found it helped if your CEO had a non-finance background. Operations and Logistics folks knew where it was at. I miss the good old political games.

Our CEO is a... actually, better left unsaid. Dad always said don't say anything if it isn't nice.

I'm lucky. Every place that has actually employed me has never listened to me. That's a good thing for all involved.

Incorrect. I want to look like I'm drinking... a Mocha, not a coffee.

Mocha is a coffee; its a specific style designed for people who believe the more chocolate and sugar, the better.

It also happens to be a type of latte:

A mocaccino, also called caffè mocha (/ˈmɒkə/ or /ˈmoʊkə/), is a chocolate-flavored variant of a caffelatte.

Mocha is barely a coffee anymore tbh

This.

Mocha suits me, as I actually don't like the taste of coffee. I just like the stimulating effect and the social aspect of drinking it tbh.

so how did they know how many pieces of chicken to put in the box?

Well my suggestion of 69 was ignored and I was told to just put 6 in the 6 piece box and 10 in the 10 piece box. Crazy stuff.

One day they might give me a go at the deep fryer. But I'd probably manage to burn the whole joint down.

This is my attitude to alcohol. For me alcohol only tastes good when I've had enough to already be drunk. I drink only for the social aspect.

Coffee on the other hand, I like Coffee. But I hate paying ridiculous prices for it when you can make it at home and you basically have your coffee machine paid for in a year.

I began my love affair with booze that way. I was always a person who drank beer solely in a social context, but these days I can appreciate a good brew on its own merits.

Wine will forever be a 'when in Rome' thing for me.

I really only drink spirits if they're a spirit I enjoy. Love me a good cocktail, or a simple whiskey & Coke.

If you had a decent coffee, this would change. When you're back in Aus, I'll help you discoer the joys of single origin beans and good coffee :)

He's... well, he's probably the worst CEO I've ever come across.

I was trying to avoid calling him words that would describe him as they're not kind and dad always says not to say something if it isn't nice.

The Mocha I had this morning was more like a cappuccino - a coffee I hate. There are coffee types I like.

Err, what? How exactly could it be anything like a cap unless they forgot to add the chocolate?!

Wine will forever be a 'when in Rome' thing for me.

Happy to help you with too when you return. You, me, Baz, SGL and several bottles of good stuff :)

I'm more than willing to take you up on that, Drew. I reckon you're fighting a losing battle with coffee, though. I like 'em sweet to the point of barely tasting like coffee.

Wine... my mates were fans and I did occasionally join them for a drop. I don't think I'll ever be able to enjoy a red, though. Just too rich for me.
