wish I had of known that
Check with your local council - give them a call and they should let you know.

Don't know about up there but here it's illegal before 7am.
I have a three stage back-up system.
1) All my files go to a secure cloud storage.
2) All my files get backed-up automatically to a media server in my network.
3) Every fortnight, I do a fully manual back-up of everything.
How many hard drives do you have? And are they USB powered or desktop hard drives?
On the subject of cloud storage, I saw an interesting post on Facebook from a police page yesterday.
A few weeks back, someone had broken into a house and stolen a whole heap of gear, including an i-pad.
A couple of weeks after the burglary the i-pad had backed itself up to the owners cloud storage.
When the owner looked at the files, there were a few new photo's included and one of those was a selfie of some random Woman that the owners had never seen before.
Needless to say, the police would now like to speak to this Woman in regards to the theft of the i-pad.
lol.
Apparently this is becoming quite a common thing with stolen i-pad's and i-phones.
Was going to recommend Kevin Bridgeswho'd you see?
going to take mrs muzby next week but haven't decided on who to see yet..
Conjunctivitis.com, now there's a site for sore eyes.
Yeah the Sketch show was awesome.
I'm thinking I'll probably head to see Kevin Bridges next week.
exactly the same here.. For me, it's called a baby wanting to start the day at 4am..
might go for a swim soon
Well the cloud isn't a hard-drive (Obviously). The media storage is a 2TB powered central unit (Think Time Capsule) and the external is a Western Digital USB powered drive.
I've been considering getting cloud storage for a while but I don't really feel secure knowing my stuff is floating around online that's potentially open to hackers!
Encryption my friend, encryption. Data is in very safe hands if you do it right. ie. Pin to access data. I have my documents going across my iPad, iPhone and Laptop. If I want to access the cloud, enter a pin-code.
I keep Uni work on there, work documents and a few other things.
Do you use one of those free cloud storage providers?
