I wish the NRL would bring the Pirates in so I'd have a fall-back team to support.

Yeah, it was Cliffy who tried to cheat be editing/deleting posts. I think Halla had a tantrum over the cricket forum and this was heightened by a mafia dispute.

Nah, not this year. The topsy turvy of the start of the season and success of Parra, Warriors (post Elliot) and Panthers makes me think the cap is actually working. To me its the coaching stock and general shit rules / refereeing seeing things swing like mad.

That Stuart, Elliot, Cartwright and Price were all coaching an NRL team is for me the issue.

I generally agree but I don't think that you can attribute the cap to our kinda-success, we're almost over it and we can't play some juniors because we're close to going over the second tier cap.

Plus the salary cap is just the framework, smart recruiting will still see some sides better than others.

Im still interested to see whether Penrith win a comp in the near future, they seemed to really go out their to bring balance to their squad, spend on the important players and build a solid (but not spectacular) side arround them that shouldn't be too effected by injury.

Er no, Hala cheated long before Cliffy, back in Simpsons mafia. She left around the same time that game ended.

She sent some PMs to butch spoiling the game and had a meltdown.

Yes but this was never going to be the year they one a comp, it's a long term rebuild, and creating an environment where their talented youngsters can step in and succeed is IMO working quite well.

I think they'll be very strong over the next few years

Yeah, she sent a PM to butch telling him that BDR was mafia and that butch should kill him. I think Cliffy told Hala BDR was mafia in the first place though. Then Hala went cray cray.
