I had to go watch some highlights of games. Couldnt tell from the general game shots but when they show the shots at ground level (replays and the like) you just see the advertising isn't there

Yep the only games the sponsor stuff is painted on are Origin and Grand Finals. Otherwise it's just the NRL logo actually painted on. Looks better at the ground IMO

It's no wonder we all feel a little like the centre of the universe sometimes. It took a whole lot of random chance/coincidence to put us here.

It's daunting to think about. You could walk out the front door tomorrow and if you go left you meet the mother of your children, you go right and you get hit by a truck. So many chain of events where a little thing ends up causing something huge down the track.
