Having to recruit/hire people is a serious pain in the butt. We have four positions going, we are yet to receive at least one suitable applicant for the role.

Okay, the role is not asking for a rocket scientist, but still - you want a person capable to fill the role.

You're f**king telling me. I've spent the last 3 weekends looking for suitable applicants for the shit I'm doing at the moment and 90% of the applicants don't attach extra documentation that's required. A simple CV won't do it nowadays.

Work cover have said that I've made the last three years up. I have no spinal damage, all I did was pull a muscle, and because of my weight I think my back hurts when it doesn't. And they're considering legal action against me to repay some medical bills.

Oh, I do want to come back to Australia. I reneged on my own desire to do the sensible thing financially, and was told they couldn't afford to keep the number of teachers we had on.

I'm much happier to be going home, but I don't like being lied to by a school I've done more than I was contracted to for.

That's my issue. I've done well beyond what I was hired to do (teach) in the form of media trips, publicity tours, touring to other schools, appearing in advertising, writing curriculum, translations etc.

A bit of a slap in the face to be lied to.
