Having 2 weeks between exams makes it so hard to get back into it for the latter exam. I've been in full holiday mode since the minute the first one finished.

Got a date tonight with New York, who is vegetarian.

Despite me living immediately next to the restaurant she wants to go to, she insists I haul my ass across town to one that is only marginally closer to her house than this one.

f**ker.

Sounds like a few people are having merkins of days. Hang in Mis and Dani. There are better days ahead.

Bulldog Force, do you have any sensitivity at all. Despite what Mis said about leaving some time ago, he now feels extremely slighted.....think before you open your trap...

Cheers, mate. My day isn't so bad. Just feeling a bit mistreated, and now I'm crabby and taking it out on New York's desire to stick close to home. Childish of me.

As to Dani, that's some really shitty news. Surely they don't have a leg to stand on, though?

Work cover have said that I've made the last three years up. I have no spinal damage, all I did was pull a muscle, and because of my weight I think my back hurts when it doesn't. And they're considering legal action against me to repay some medical bills.

If anyone needs me ill be in the corner rocking backwards and forwards.

In all seriousness, I know money is tight. I'm giving you a legit answer as I study the f*cking thing. Have you considered going overseas and just getting your back fixed?

Medicine is so cheap in places such as India, Lebanon, Brazil and so forth. They'd be willing to help, given the information. I know it sounds a big step - but it might be worth a look at.

As for workcover, you need to gather together all the information you can, get together a strong case and show evidence of records, medication, appointments and everything. Also, do you have witnesses who can act on your behalf? ie. Parents to say "Yes, she truly is in f*cking agony".

I'm here to help, if need be.

This is a specialist THEY found and made me see.

All the ones I've seen have recorded disc damage ect.

But no, I have no leg to stand on, because that's what this doctor wrote.

Found a dog wandering along George's River Road today.. He nearly got hit twice that I saw.. My heart dropped into my stomach :( lucky he was a friendly dog, I called him over and sat with him while I called the rangers. I had no idea what I was supposed to do, but they told me to take him to a vet. Luckily, there was one not too far down the street. Can't stop thinking about him now :(

To a vet?

Good job. They've probably already put him down.

All those f**kers seem to do.

I doubt that argument on their behalf will stand up in court.

"Well, our specialist said she's fine. The other dozen she's talked to are obviously lying".

So get those records that show disc damage, and show workcover. Go see your GP and get the records of your visits, what she has written, medication history and show it. You have enough evidence to counter their claim and indeed prove damage was done.

You just need to stand your ground and show it. Simple as that.

The vet scans for the microchip and contacts the owners. I waited with the dog until
I knew he was definitely chipped, and the owners are local. I also left my contact details.

A lot of time, money and energy. None of which I have.

With the dog, they'll make the owners pay a fine before they release him to them. Found 2 strays when I lived opposite North Sydney oval. The rangers promised me it's what they do.

You have records I assume? You also have the right to a second opinion. Take everything you have to a lawyer asap.

reminds of of the dog I found wondering through one of our sites in Biloela. Quarry trucks were missing her by inches as she was weaving ina nd out of the traffic cones and I was a few cars back at the stop sign as it was only one way. When I noticed what was happening I drove down the shoulder and drove straight over the top of the fence to run out and grab her. Would have been minutes before the poor thing got splattered and the digger operator stuck his head out and said he was in the middle of putting his boots on in the cabin to run out himself to grab her. The whole time though a traffic controller was sitting inside his ute pretty directly infront of her and didn't lift a finger (because they are stupidly overpaid and incredibly lazy) and was quite happy to sit in the air con and watch a canine get run over by an 18 wheeler. Once I got the dog in the ute I came back and knocked on the window and when he rolled it down I tore shreds off him which a few people that were in the cars infront of me at the stop saw and got out and gave me a clap.

Were big chunks of land out there and only a few houses covering 10km of road so was easy finding the owner. The office got a letter of thanks, got a few pats on the back from higher above, few of the witnesses also rang our community liason to give me a wrap and even made it into the local newsletter but to top it off I had to sit down with the team leader of the traffic controllers and explain why I spoke to one his dickhea...employers in that matter and that I should apologise and receive a written warning from the project manager who was present and giggled at the idea and I told the team leader to shove it up his ass and walked out.

Next day I got a batch of muffins which the grandmother of the pooch had made and dropped off at our office in town. moral to the story, be good to animals and no matter where you are or what you are doing there will always be one asshole

Bazal is correct hun. You need to use a lawyer asap. Do not let those bastards run over you. I don't know how half of the f**kers sleep at night.

Of course mate - he's been duded by his workplace... that is shit, but I was confused about his stay and whether or not he was coming home. No doubt about the school... They can go hang themselves.

Yeah, I wasn't irked with your line of questioning. I am (and was, prior to asking about re-signing) happy to be going home.

I have given up.

Terrific decision. Nothing gets things done like doing nothing about them.

Don't apologize. Just make the choice between complaining and doing something about it, or not complaining about it and doing nothing about it.

You don't get to complain about shit if you're not going to try and fix it.
