Settle an argument for me everyone. On a scale of 1-10 how weird is it that I put salt on my porridge instead of sugar?

It's not that unusual to be honest. The Scottish almost exclusively eat it with salt.

It's just weird because sugar > salt.

Whaaat? You're a crazy person. First two episodes were great additions to the canon, the recent Fionna & Cake one was hilarious, and the guest special - while weird - was really cool IMO.

A bit hard to judge a season on the first few episodes. They always drop off a little in terms of story after the opener.

And how could you not love Breezy?

Well, I'm up to episode 9. The first 3-4 were awesome, particularly the whole deadbeat Dad arch. But there has been way too much D&M episodes recently.

interesting discussion re: statistical odds of winning the lotto..

was having a debate with a guy from work re: odds, particularly when the lotto was getting up around the $100m mark a couple of years ago..

he was saying that if you just bought a ticket with every number possibility it would be about 45 million games, there or thereabouts..

which at $1.10 per game would cost about $49.5m..

he said that would guarantee him the win, and therefore a $50m kitty..

i pointed out that strategy was based on him being the sole winner, because if more than one winner came about (which it traditionally does for bigger draws as more people enter, because, lets face it, who only wants to win $1m or $2m?)

anyways, i am of the strong belief that winning the lotto is greater than a 1 in 45 million chance..

from my rough statistical calculations, i see there being roughtly 5,864,443,200 possible combinations of winning numbers in a 6 number from 45 ball draw.. (which grows to 229 billion when you add in the additional 7th number for oz lotto)

seems a bit high though..

dunno.. any debate as to which it should be?

There are 45C6 (45!/(6!(45-6)!)) ways to choose 6 balls from 45 which is 8,145,060. i.e there are 8,145,060 combinations you could pick. One of them is a winner, you have 1/8,145,060 chance with one pick or 1:8,145,060 odds.

I think most seasons have felt that way. I'm up to date and there are the filler episodes (like last week's Meat & Furniture and the Food Chain), the character arc episodes (Breezy and the one with Finn wanting to rip off his Dad's arm), and then there are the big event ones like when we get more Mushroom War info or some more Lich-y goodness.

There's been a few 'meh' episodes this year, but I feel that's true every year - especially with last year's 52 episode season :lol:

Wait no, ek999 has misread the link. The odds for 1 game are what they have on the link, it is merely saying that you can't play 1 game.

It makes no sense that 1:8,145,060 are the odds for 4 games given the way it's calculated.
