The thing with the flu shots is they actually inject you with the disease so your immune system can get stronger. I say... if I'm going to get the flu, just get it and get it over and done with. It's just unbearable for the first 24 hours or so. After that it's just a sniffle.

you do realise it's not just yourself you are protecting, it's the vulnerable?

eg.

step 1. you don't get the flu jab.

step 2. you then catch the flu.

step 3. you sneeze on the bus.

step 4. a sick or elderly person on the bus catches the flu because of your sneeze

step 5. they get sick.

step 6. they die.


could have all been avoided with a different step 1.

Flu =/= common cold. :?

Also, I hope you aware that the flu (influenza), comes in in many strains is responsible for hundreds of thousands of deaths each year, and is also one of the most deadly virus (by numbers) of all time?
