It's a mixed bag. The mass produced coors, miller and bud are rubbish.

The craft scene is simply incredible and very readily available.
What's got your love?

Miller is better than mainstream Aussie beers like Hahn Superdry or Ted's. Goes down easy, although boring as anything there's not much wrong with it. And given my mate owns an American BBQ restaurant and gives us freebies when we eat there I've noticed the Bud we get here is better than the stuff I had in the states (well...on an airport stopover anyway, lol)...although still very ordinary, it too is fairly easy to drink a few of. Or maybe free beer just tastes better :p

This is the reason for your conclusions.

Miller and Miller lite were ok tbh. Found Bud and Coors fairly undrinkable

Although Bud put out an "American Ale" that was top notch but I only had it at Disney World of all places

I found Miller okay, hence my previous post. Not AS bad as I thought it would be.

The microbrewries/crafts here in Montana are beyond amazing though. They have this one, salmon fly honey ale. The first time I had that beer, I had about 2 jugs to my self.

I miss the breweries!!!!! Ahhhhh!

They're seriously brilliant out here!

I found miller the worst of those few.

Craft beer scene is pretty good. Goose island was good. Some of the new york beers excellent. Went to a pub in san fran with about 80 taps, excellent. Beers at yosemite were great.
Tbh what stands out is how good pubs are when there are no pokie machines. Efort goes into the rest of the joint.
Absolutely stinging to go back to the states tbh

The manly-dogs thread has to be seen to be believed. Where have all these gibberers been hiding. Literally the lowest quality gamethread I've ever seen. I'm suddenly feeling old. There's a whole new generation of trolls that I don't even understand.
