I like to keep an open mind on things. Yes, the system is not perfect in providing health care for all. Makes you realise how fortunate we are in Australia, despite the naysayers who whinge because they have to wait an hour or so in their local E/D when little Johnny has a splinter in his finger. On the flip side the US system enables first rate medical research and innovation to occur which eventually benefits all.
The real f**kers in the health care system are the pharmaceutical companies.
I do agree for the most part and it was just a throw away comment but some of the debt US families get in is disgusting

stay thereIs it wrong that I don't miss home?
I didn't hate Sydney per say, but I miss nothing about it, don't even miss family and/or friends. If anything, I miss my dog, that's about it. It's a beautiful place, don't get me wrong - but out here is just as beautiful, and while different, feels like home to me.
Which is why I'm extending my program out here and will be hopefully finishing my entire degree over here, then doing a working visa. Giving me the ability to live here for 3 years, and then hopefully, find long-term work over here.
Who would have thought that a team with only one specialist prop would struggle in the middle of the field?
