Not a particularly big fan of either KL airport tbh....Not that they're bad, just not particularly interesting if you have to spend a while.

Take the Train to Bandar Tasik Selatan, eat Roti Canai. Repeat if necessary. It's a little annoying that the airport train goes past MidValley but doesn't stop there.

I go through both a lot. I prefer the new LCCT if I'm not in a rush, mainly because all the Nandos in Jakarta shut down five years ago. However, the standard airport is awesome in terms of speed. Think it took me about 30 minutes between entering the building to sitting down at my gate on an international flight yesterday morning.

Changi is the best in the region. I usually hop on the train to Kallang and walk down to the food court just off the train station if I have more than two hours there.

Anyone watch 4 corners last night?
http://www.abc.net.au/4corners/

Have been put off by racing for a while, between the gambling itself that I get sick of (because I deal with it at work all the time), the wastage and the general poor treatment of the racers. Last night was pretty disgusting revelations though, just sickening behaviour from those involved.

have recorded it and want to watch..

always loved the greyhounds, and we had been debating adopting one of the ex-racing ones...

from what i've heard this is a pretty disturbing report..

Would probably look into adopting one when I can get my own dog at some point. Our current dog is a rescue as well.

It didn't touch on the cruelty to the dogs (except briefly) but the practices were pretty horrible.

They are beautiful dogs. Have a fantastic temperament. Only problem is that you take a big risk if you have them near kids at all. They won't necessarily attack the kid as such but if the kid happens to wander out into the yard with a stuffed toy or something small like that, things could get ugly.

My grandma's nursing home had a greyhound as the community pet that lived there with them. It was huge, quite friendly and all the oldies loved it. It had to get taken away for more training though because one day it decided one of the hallways looked liked one of its old stomping grounds, sprinted down it and knocked over some 94 year old

Well whenever I catch the train to work, I make sure I'm at the station before 7:00am and tap my Opal pass on straight away.

Reason being... before 7:00am I get the tight ass off-peak fare which is about 30% cheaper. It's nothing if I were to purchase it just once, but over time, the amount of money you save mounts up.

Of course after 8 tap-on/offs the rest of the weeks travels are free, meaning that if I have caught the train Monday-Thursday, then on Friday I can take my time.

I'm not sure if you'd call that strange but that's a daily ritual.

Do that on a student card :)

It's criminal how little I pay to get to work. I get funny looks at times tapping on using a student card whilst dressed in a suit.

It's all legit though.. Honest.. I work in the legal industry, you can totes trust me

Where lol@souffs has disappeared lol@dragons, increasingly, has stepped in

bit harsh..

we've had a dodgy coach and a salary cap issue..

that's nothing compared to decades of mediocrity, boardroom turmoil, a coach being punched by a player, ostracising a club great, players being arrested overseas, players being charged with domestic violence, bunniesman, russell crowe, being kicked out of the comp, fans who just don't do the club any justice...

i could go on....

if something untoward happens to the dragons or their players over in england, i may change tune..

Anyone here like to know how certain communities make their papers?

Source: http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/...p-runs-into-millions/articleshow/44954086.cms

The business of poop is big, and not just in coffee. Since 2003, entrepreneurs Mahima Mehra and Vijendra Shekhawat have been making paper from elephant poop under the brand Haathi Chaap. Elephant dung has a lot of fibre, something that Shekhawat realized on a trip to Jaipur once. An elephant excretes more than half of all that it eats, so the fibres are soft and long. It eats about 200 kg of food every day and generates up to 50 kg of dung, enough to make 115 sheets of paper. Haathi Chaap's manufacturing process involves washing the dung, boiling it, disinfecting it and drying it. It's finally beaten into a pulp and mixed with water and dried flat into paper.

Thank your lucky stars you live in Australia, people!
