Mate, along with everything else that is doing it's damn worst to see me off this mortal coil, manflu has decided to stick its oar in and have a crack as well. I think my body is fighting an around about 8 front war at the moment.

If you find a red or a white or any bloody thing at the moment that will at least stall the manflu, please advise asap.

The fuss people are making over Haddin's catch is amusing. Its almost like they forget Adam Gilchrist was doing it regularly when he had the gloves.

Gilchrist wasn't 36. Gilchrist was also, generally speaking, not as good a keeper as Haddin. And I remember very few as good as that grab yesterday from Gilly. He had some great takes, but the one Haddin took yesterday was ridiculous.

If Gilchrist wasn't a freakish striker of a cricket ball he would likely have been pushed out by Haddin much earlier. But he was too valuable a batsman to lose and his keeping improved by the end of his career
